Audition for the Lutheran Youth Choir of North America!
The Lutheran Youth Choir of North America, formed in 2006, is a national/international auditioned touring choir for high school youth (entering grade 9 through graduating grade 12). It is open to young singers from all Christian denominations. Each summer, the Lutheran Youth Choir first gathers in the Chicago area, on the campus of the founding congregation, Faith Lutheran Church, Glen Ellyn, Illinois, for several days of intensive rehearsal and great recreation. Then the choir tours for 1-2 weeks to a region of the United States and Canada or internationally, singing a Choral Service of Evening Prayer with outstanding sacred choral music of all styles.

In 2006, the Lutheran Youth Choir toured the Great Lakes region; in 2007, the Pacific Northwest, and sang for the ELCA Worship Jubilee at Navy Pier, Chicago; in 2008, Germany, “In the Steps of Luther and Bach”. To read more about the choir’s memorable 2008 tour to Germany, click here.
